Police say driver ditched injured female passenger after rollover crash downtown

Female taken to hospital, police looking for driver

SAN ANTONIO – Authorities are looking for the driver of a red truck who they say left their injured female passenger behind after a rollover accident downtown early Sunday morning.

Police said the driver was traveling south on North Flores Street when they swiped a guide wire on a telephone pole, causing the driver to lose control of the truck and roll over.

Authorities believe the driver fled on foot, leaving behind the female passenger.

She was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. Meanwhile, police are still looking for the driver.
