SAN ANTONIO – Want to squeeze in some last-minute fun before the kids have to return to classes? The San Antonio Zoo is expanding its discount during Back-to-School Locals Week.
Standard admission will be $7 per person, which is half off the normal rate, from Sunday through Friday.
The $7 admission will offer even more bang for the buck on Friday, August 18, as the zoo extends its hours until 9 p.m. for a special cumbia music-themed Jungle Boogie Nights event, which features the popular tribute band Bidi Bidi Banda, a look-alike contest and food trucks, the zoo said in a news release.
The discounted admission is valid all day Sunday through Friday. Tickets must be purchased at the zoo’s front gate or online during the week of the special offer.
