Man fighting for his life after getting slashed in throat during fight

Police recieved two calls Sunday morning

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police said a man was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center after he was slashed in the throat. 

Police said two friends were drinking all night in the 300 block of Lone Star Boulevard when they got into an argument and police were called around 6:20 a.m. Sunday.

The victim, a man in his thirties, went home to the 100 block of King Roger Street.

The victim's friend, a man in his late twenties, came over to his house on King Roger Street and started up the fight again around 7:30 a.m.. He cut the victim across the throat, police said.

The victim had to undergo surgery and has life-threatening injuries. 

The suspect went back to his home on Lone Star Boulevard where police found and arrested him.
