Here's how you can find gas in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO – A collective panic over a potential gas shortage caused people to rush to gas stations to fill up Thursday afternoon, depleting much of the available gas in San Antonio.

Distribution issues coupled with consumer fears are causing many gas stations to temporarily run out of gas, but it’s not because of a gas shortage -- it's due to demand.

That leads to higher gas prices and logistical issues for gas stations waiting to have their tanks refilled.

None of that helps people whose tanks are on empty, however.
