Suspect assaults Target employee while stealing merchandise

Incident occurred back on July 27 at Target on Blanco Road

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department and Crime Stoppers want the public’s assistance in tracking down the person responsible for a robbery.

According to police, on July 27 the suspect entered a Target located in the 18200 block of Blanco Road and concealed merchandise before trying to exit the store. That's when, police said, the suspect assaulted a store employee that tried to stop him. He eventually fled the scene.

Anyone with any knowledge of the robbery is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (210) 224-STOP.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
