A viral video coming out of U.C. Berkeley is raising concerns about the treatment of a local hot dog vendor named Juan.

Martin Flores, the man who posted the original video to Facebook, witnessed a U.C. Berkeley police officer taking a man’s wallet after citing him for selling food without a permit.

Flores can be heard on the video saying “That’s not right.”

The officer taking the vendors wallet and money responds, “That’s how it works. A judge can decide whether or not it’s right.”

Flores started a GoFundMe campaign, which has raised more than $50,000 of a $10,000 goal in just two days.

One hundred percent of the campaign’s money will go to Juan.
