SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are investigating the city’s latest homicide.
Officers were called to South Pine Street and Nevada Street around 3:15 p.m. Sunday and found a man shot in the chest.
Police said the man, 20, was walking down the street when a car pulled up next to him and opened fire.

The victim was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center but died a short time later.
Police are looking for a silver sedan seen leaving the scene.
The shooting occurred a day after a rally on the East Side in hopes of ending the violence that has plagued the area.
