Former employee accused of breaking into Burger King on Northeast Side

Man allegedly broke into restaurant's office, stole cash from safe


SAN ANTONIO – A man is behind bars after being accused of breaking into a Burger King he formerly worked at on San Antonio's Northeast Side.

Montrail Thomas Butler is accused of breaking into the Burger King on Nacogdoches Road.

Butler allegedly broke into the restaurant's office and stole cash from the safe.

Arrest records said the restaurant's manager recognized Butler on the surveillance video; Butler was a former employee.

Butler was arrested and charged with burglary of building with intent to commit crime.
