Woman searching for baby's ashes possibly lost at East Central High School

Urn necklace may have been lost on high school field

SAN ANTONIO – A Converse mother who lost her baby 5 1/2 months into her in vitro fertilization pregnancy is being forced to endure the pain of losing the baby again, months later.

Baby Emma was still born in August. Her mother, Vanessa Munoz, decided to have Emma cremated. She kept the ashes in urn necklaces for the family.

On Wednesday, one of Munoz's sons participated in the East Central High School homecoming parade and believes he lost his necklace on the field.

Since then, supporters have been sharing pictures of the necklace on social media, hoping if anyone finds it, they'll return it.

Munoz, searching for her daughter's ashes, said, "We love Emma, and we just want her home, together, all of the necklaces, just for it to be returned,"

Munoz said she will return to the field Friday morning with a metal detector to search for the necklace.

Anyone who may know where the necklace is located is asked to return it to the East Central High School office.
