SAN ANTONIO – Lowe's said it will be hiring more than 150 employees Saturday at its South Texas stores as part of a plan to hire more than 3,500 employees statewide.
The company said the hiring event, which will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1200 North F.M. 1604 West, is to help communities recover from Hurricane Harvey, which made landfall on Aug. 25.
Lowe's said it will hold open interviews and make on-the-spot job offers to qualified candidates for seasonal, part-time and full-time roles that include cashiers, loaders, customer service associates and sales specialists in flooring, millwork, appliances and professional services.
The company is also holding hiring events at stores in Houston.
