SAN ANTONIO – A man on the city's East Side was taken to the hospital after being found shot multiple times overnight, San Antonio police said Friday.
The shooting was reported just before 11:30 p.m. Thursday near East Crockett Street and North New Braunfels Avenue.
Police said a patrolling officer heard the gunshots and found the victim.

Officers say the victim, a man in his 20s, was shot multiple times and yet would not cooperate with police.
The man was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center for his injuries.
Investigators said so far they do not have any suspects.
