SAN ANTONIO – A vacant house fire took firefighters nearly an hour to put out, fire officials said Thursday.
The fire was reported just before 12:30 a.m. in the 5900 block of Catalina Sunrise Drive, found on the city's far Northeast Side.

Firefighters said the flames were coming out of the back of the house when they arrived. Arson investigators were then called to help determine the cause.

At this time the cause and a damage estimate are not currently known.
