SAN ANTONIO – The trial of a man accused of killing a mother of six is underway.
James Striblin is charged with murder in the shooting death of 28-year-old Margarita Natividad. She was killed on July 22, 2016, at an apartment complex on Medical Drive.

Investigators said Striblin was arguing with another woman when Natividad stepped in to protect the woman. That's when they said Striblin shot and killed Natividad.
Striblin claimed self-defense.
