SAN ANTONIO – The state of Texas along with the rest of the country will vote on Tuesday and there are several propositions on the ballot, including some city council and mayoral positions for nearby cities.
Windcrest, Schertz and Leon Valley are among those voting on new council members.
The Bexar County Elections Office has various resources on its site for voters, and more than 30 polling locations will be open.
Across the country, New Jersey and Virginia will choose their next governors and Utah will vote on a replacement for Republican Rep. Jason Chaffetz who left Congress this summer to join Fox News.
Mayoral races also will take place in major cities like Atlanta, Seattle, Boston and Detroit.
