SAN ANTONIO – A man in his 70s was hit and killed after trying to cross a street on the city’s Southwest Side.
Police said an elderly woman in a Ford Focus hit the man Tuesday evening on South Zarzamora Street.

The woman pulled over a couple of blocks down the street.
Police said they have a couple of witnesses that didn’t see the impact but saw the man’s body.
Officers are questioning the driver and witnesses.
