Man threatens employees with brass knuckles, steals drones from store

Robbery occurred at HobbyTown USA in 2500 block of NW Loop 410

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department and Crime Stoppers want the public’s assistance in tracking down the person responsible for a robbery.

According to police, on Saturday Nov. 4 an unknown man entered the HobbyTown USA located in the 2500 block of NW Loop 410 and asked a salesperson about drones.  

When the salesperson walked away, the suspect picked up two drones and walked out of the store without paying for the items.

Police said two employees approached the suspect outside in an attempt to retrieve the stolen property, but the suspect threatened to assault the employees with brass knuckles, placing them in fear of injury. The suspect fled on foot, police said.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
