Man thrown from Highway 281 overpass north of downtown, police say

Victim suffered 'multiple injuries' after falling 40 feet

SAN ANTONIO – A man who tumbled about 40 feet to the ground from a Highway 281 overpass north of downtown told San Antonio police he doesn't remember a lot about what happened.

Officers found the victim after receiving a 911 call shortly before 1 a.m. Monday.

Police said he was able to tell them that he had been in a car with three other people, heading south on Highway 281, when they threw him from the vehicle.
