SAN ANTONIO – Less than 24 hours after he was featured as a fugitive on KSAT-12, a convicted sex offender was back in custody.
On Tuesday, the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force asked for help to find Marvin Kirk, 51. They had been looking for him since he was indicted in June on a charge he violated terms of the sex-offender registry by not reporting his address to law enforcement.

A KSAT-12 viewer recognized Kirk as a regular at the San Antonio Public Library near downtown. That's where he was arrested around 4:30 Wednesday afternoon.
Kirk is charged with violating the sex-offender registry and failing to identify himself to an officer.
