SAN ANTONIO – Crews responded Saturday to a wildland fire burning on the Camp Bullis property in north San Antonio.

The San Antonio Fire Department said it has units in place in the area, specifically to the southwest of the fire, in case it presents any danger to homes or other structures in the area.

Crews are utilizing natural and manmade firebreaks in the area, along with being in place with firefighting apparatus to ensure that residents in the area will not be in any danger, fire officials said.

The crews will remain in place until the threat of the fire has subsided, fire officials said.
