After standing motionless for several minutes, the crocodile eventually walked back towards the ocean.

Hollywood police officers were standing nearby.

"Right now, we're just keeping everyone away from the shore as much as possible, for their safety, as well as the crocodile," Officer Christian Lata said.

Eventually, the crocodile walked back towards the ocean and seemed to soak up the salt water.
