WALLER COUNTY, Texas – UPDATE: The Navarro County Office of Emergency Management said on Twitter that the suspect was captured in Waller County near Prairie View.

A manhunt is underway for a person accused of killing a Texas state trooper in Freestone County on Thursday.
The Texas Department of Public Safety issued a Blue Alert in search of an individual driving a gray 2012 Chevrolet Malibu with Texas license plate JDN-4273.
Officials believe the vehicle is associated with the killing of the officer and may be a threat to the public and other law enforcement personnel.
Anyone with information about the shooting or the vehicle is asked to call 911.
