Leon Valley police investigating death of man inside home

Investigators tight-lipped about case

LEON VALLEY, Texas – Leon Valley police are being tight-lipped about the sudden death of a 56-year-old man.

Police found him dead inside his home, located in the 6000 block of Rue Sophie, after answering a 911 call around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Indications at the scene were that the man had been stabbed or shot. Officers however have refused to release any other information.

According to the Bexar County Medical Examiner's office, the man was 56-years-old and lived in the home where he was found.

As of early Wednesday morning an autopsy had not been conducted so staff members have not yet been able to determine the circumstances of his death.

In a second attempt to get information by phone early Wednesday morning, Leon Valley Police directed KSAT 12 to call the Bexar County Sheriff's Office.
