Robbery suspect caught in port-a-potty

Man stole $1,000 from MA bank

Massachusetts police say they caught up with a robbery suspect in an unusual place: an outdoor port-a-potty.

Steven Spolidoro, 41, reportedly entered a bank in Revere Wednesday and left with around $1,000 in cash. Spolidoro then fled the scene.

An off-duty officer happened to be in the area and saw Spolidoro's car, which he then gave a description of it to police. When the vehicle was spotted by police in Boston, Spolidoro ran away on foot. Officers later found him hiding in the portable toilet.

The suspect's arraignment is scheduled for Thursday.
