Texas State Police investigating aggravated robbery at student housing complex

Crime occurred on Friday, reported to police on Sunday

SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State Police Department is investigating after being alerted to an aggravated robbery that occurred at one of its student housing complexes.

Police said the crime occurred Friday at 9:30 p.m., but was not reported until Sunday afternoon.

The incident happened near the breezeway of Building 7 at Bobcat Village Apartments, police said.

Investigators are looking for a black man who is approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall and was wearing a dark-colored hooded pullover, dark-colored jeans and an earring.

The housing website said each apartment in the complex is equipped with a security system and a there is panic button in each room.

Police did not say why the crime was reported two days after it occurred.
