MERRIAM, Kansas – A college student's photo of her finishing finals right before she gave birth is going viral.
Nayzia, the woman in the photo, explained it best, "Yes I'm about to have a baby, but final SZN (season) ain't over yet."

Nayzia told Yahoo! Lifestyle that she had planned on completing her exams before her due date, but her baby had other plans.
“(The final) wasn’t due until the end of the week — finals week is Dec. 11 to tomorrow — but my goal was to try to have everything done before,” Nayzia told Yahoo! Lifestyle. “(I thought) ‘before all this gets crazy let me hurry up and finish this final.’”

According to Yahoo! Nayzia was working three jobs and attending summer classes when she discovered she was pregnant.
“I didn’t want (the pregnancy) to be in the way," Nayzia told Yahoo! "That’s what people expect. You’re a teen mom, you’re a young mother. That’s why my mom took that picture. It shows (I) follow through.”
Nayzia tweeted updates during the recovery process and said she and the baby were healthy, but had experienced some complications.
Nonetheless, she finished the semester with a 3.5 GPA.
update: on 12/12/17 we had a healthy baby boy. However, I experienced major blood loss & my body went into shock post-delivery.
