ELMENDORF, Texas – A fire destroyed a mobile home early Tuesday morning in South Bexar County.

A couple and their daughter lived in the home, which was moved into the property a little over three weeks ago.

"They were here just yesterday afternoon, and something must've happened between yesterday afternoon and 2 in the morning," Frank Perez, a neighbor, said. "He (the owner) said all they had was a chair, a table, a small fridge. They were moving in slowly, slowly, slowly."

The Bexar County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.

Damage is estimated at $25,000.
