SAN ANTONIO – Crews extinguished a fire at a home on the near West Side Wednesday evening.
The fire happened in the 500 block of Frio City Road.

A San Antonio Fire Department captain said an electrical short in the wall caused the fire.
The captain said the fire was contained to one room and only the contents of that room were destroyed.
One person was home at the time and was able to get out safely.
No injuries were reported.
