SAN ANTONIO, TX – San Antonio police are putting out an appeal through Crime Stoppers for information on what appear to be two separate burglaries at the same Northwest side church.
University United Methodist Church, located in the 5000 block of De Zavala Road, was hit twice in the same week in late July.
The first break-in happened July 28 after hours.
Police say a man dressed in a black polo-style shirt made his way into the accounting office and stole cash.
He got away but was caught on surveillance cameras inside the building.
Three days later, another man was caught on camera stealing electronic equipment from the church.
Police said he was wearing gloves and using a flashlight.
He also was dressed in a black shirt, only his was a button-down with long sleeves.
It’s unclear whether police believe the two burglaries might be related or if the men may have been working together.
However, investigators hope that by releasing their photos, someone will come forward with information.
Anyone who has clues about the identity of either suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (210) 224-STOP (7867).
