2 workers die in 6-story fall near Disney World; 3rd hangs on, survives
Incident occurred around 4:15 a.m. Wednesday morning
ORLANDO – Two workers building a hotel near Disney World have died in a 6th floor scaffolding collapse early Wednesday morning, KSAT 12's sister station WKMG reports.
The incident occurred around 4:15 a.m.
WKMG said the workers were pouring concrete between the sixth and seventh floors when the scaffolding gave way.
Two of the workers fell to the ground and were pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
WKMG reports that a third worker was able to hold on and climb to safety, suffering minor injuries.
