SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police have arrested a man who they believe has been sexually abusing a teenage girl for years and also fathering a child with her.
An arrest warrant affidavit said police first found out about the allegations against Rodrigo Mandujano, 44, when they responded to a July 8 disturbance involving him and a woman.
It said during that investigation, the woman told officers that Mandujano had been sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl for years.
Later, police spoke with the teen and they say she corroborated the story, saying that Mandujano had been sexually assaulting her from the time she was 12 years old until the present.
The affidavit said she told them she had a baby as a result, and that Mandujano was the father of her 1-year-old child.
It also said police found text messages that Mandujano wrote to the girl after the allegations came to light, telling her that he was sorry and that he was going to die in jail.
He also told her that she would have to testify against him in court, the affidavit said.
