Medical examiner ID's 17-year-old killed in apartment triple shooting

Jacore Rodriguez-Hendricks died Monday night, ME says

SAN ANTONIO – The Bexar County Medical Examiner's office has identified the person killed in an overnight shooting at a Northeast Side apartment complex late Monday night.

Jacore Rodriguez-Hendricks, 17, was found by officers on the pavement between two of the apartment buildings deceased.

Rodriguez-Hendricks was one of three victims in a shooting at the Admiral Apartments, located in the 8000 block of Midcrown Drive, around 11:30 p.m.

Police said they found a second victim outside the passenger door of a vehicle also suffering from gunshot wounds. Shortly thereafter, police found a third victim just up the street in the 5500 block of Walzem Road. Both men were taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition.

Police said they believe two people were involved in the shooting. Authorities say they were last seen running from the apartment complex, although police said one may have gotten into a vehicle afterward.

Officers did not release a description of that vehicle, nor did they release the motive for the shootings.
