Northwest SA man wanted on charges in rape of unconscious woman

Jerome Gardner, 38, faces 2 counts of sexual assault

SAN ANTONIO – For the last year, law enforcement authorities have not been able to find a San Antonio man wanted on charges related to the rape of an unconscious woman. Now, they're asking the public to help them find him.

Jerome Gardner, 38, was indicted in August 2017 on two counts of sexual assault.

"The indictment alleged that Gardner sexually assaulted a victim without consent while the victim was unconscious and unable to resist," said Deputy U.S. Marshal Chris Bozeman.

Gardner is 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs 177 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. A photo of Gardner shows him with facial hair.

"His last known place of residence was on the Northwest Side of San Antonio," Bozeman said.

If you have any information on Gardner's whereabouts, call the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force at (210) 657-8500.
