SAN ANTONIO – A man was shot in his driveway early Thursday in Northeast Bexar County.
The victim told officers that a man pulled into his driveway and got out of a car around 3:15 a.m. on Sunrise Creek Drive near Mystic Sunrise Drive, police said. Another man pulled out a gun and asked the victim, "Where is it?"
The gunman then opened fire, grazing the victim in the back of the head, police said. The victim drove a few blocks away to a convenience store, where an ambulance was dispatched. He was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center, where he is expected to recover from the wound, police said.
The motive for the shooting is not known, and no arrests have been made.
San Antonio police and the Bexar County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene.
