Woman found dead moments after calling her mother for help

Cell phone company helped track woman down

SAN ANTONIO – A woman was found dead on the Northwest Side after a concerned mother called 911 asking for help to find her missing daughter.

Police said they found the daughter by calling her phone company, which pinned her location early Sunday morning.

The victim’s mother called police to tell them her daughter had called her saying she had been stabbed but didn’t know where she was.

Police then pinned the daughter’s location near I-10 and Camp Bullis.

When police arrived, the woman was already dead.

Police found the woman’s vehicle at a different place. Authorities said there are multiple scenes involving the fatal incident.

Officials couldn’t confirm exactly what led up to the woman's death.

Authorities don’t have any suspects and are investigating further.
