SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are investigating after a 21-year-old man was found fatally shot in his car early Tuesday morning.
The shooting was reported just before 2:30 a.m. at the Avistar at the Parkway Apartments, located in the 9500 block of Perrin Beitel Road.
According to police, the victim's mother and girlfriend were looking for the man when they used the Find My iPhone app to discover him deceased of a gunshot wound in his car.
Investigators said they believe the wound to the head was not self-inflicted.
At this time, there is not motive for the shooting, police said. The victim's name has not been released.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
