Police help driver whose vehicle stalls in high water

Incident occurred on East Crockett Street near North Cherry Street

SAN ANTONIO – Emergency crews had to a help a driver who saw their vehicle stall in high water just east of downtown early Tuesday morning. 

The incident occurred on East Crockett Street near North Cherry Street.

Police said the woman was driving her usual route to work and came upon the water and got stuck. There were no barricades up so she didn't go around or do anything wrong, police said.

A Flash Flood Warning is in effect for San Antonio until 10 a.m. Officials advise not driving in known flooding areas.
