Suspect threatens EZPAWN clerk with gun during robbery attempt

SAN ANTONIO – A suspect during a robbery of an EZPAWN threatened to shoot the employee if they did not comply with his requests, San Antonio police said.

The robbery occurred Aug. 8 around 2:20 p.m. at the EZPAWN located in the 1700 block of SW Military Drive.

According to police, the suspect entered the store and asked the clerk to show him various types of jewelry. That's when, police say, the man threatened the employee and took several trays of jewelry before fleeing on foot.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
