SAN ANTONIO – A 30-year-old man was arrested after San Antonio police said he used a gun to rob two people at separate locations just hours apart from each other.

Police identified the man in an arrest affidavit as Quintin Lewis, who is being charged with two counts of aggravated robbery.

On April 24, Lewis and a man were talking inside a 7-Eleven in the 6100 block of Interstate 35 North, and later walked to man's car.

The man told police that's when Lewis pulled out a handgun demanding his property. When he tried to run away, the man said Lewis fired the gun at him shooting him in the leg before taking off in his car.

Police said they were called for a report of another robbery at the nearby Antioch Village Apartment complex just a short time after the first robbery.

At the location, a man told police Lewis came up to him asking him where he could buy marijuana. After telling Lewis he didn't know, Lewis pulled out a handgun, racked the slide of the gun and demanded his belongings, according to the affidavit.

Police said a witness was able to identify Lewis as the gunman who committed both robberies.

Prosecutors are charging Lewis with two first-degree felonies. His bail has been set at $150,000.
