SAN ANTONIO – Verizon customers in Texas and in the eastern half of the U.S. are experiencing outages, according to the crowd-sourced website DownDetector.com.
The website's heat map of reported outages shows several service outages in Dallas, Houston, Austin and San Antonio.
Verizon's support Twitter account has been responding to customers across the country who are reporting network issues.
The Verizon website allows customers to login and check if there are any outages affecting their service area.
It's unclear what's causing the connectivity issues or when they will be resolved.
