Man rushed to hospital after shooting self in North Substation parking lot, police say

Man taken to University Hospital

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police say a man shot himself in the parking lot of the North Substation.

Around 4:30 p.m. Friday, police inside the substation heard a gunshot outside.

When personnel went outside to investigate, they found the man lying on the ground, with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. 

The man, who still had a pulse and was breathing, was rushed to University Hospital.

His condition is unknown.
