SAN ANTONIO – A couple was shot outside of a West Side convenience store late Friday night.
Police said the man and woman went to the E-Z Shop in the 7800 block of West Military Drive around 11 p.m. to pick up a few items from the convenience store.
As the female victim walked out of the store and got into the car, police said a man pulled up behind them and shot both of them.
Both were taken to University Hospital in serious condition.
Police initially arrested the female victim's ex-boyfriend, but a spokesman for the department said they "couldn't find enough evidence to execute an arrest.”
Police did not provide the ages of the victims.
