Man accused of robbing woman at gunpoint, crashing car he stole from her

SAN ANTONIO – A man was taken into custody Tuesday after allegedly robbing a woman at gunpoint and taking her car, leading police on a search for him.

The carjacking happened around 4:30 p.m. at a mobile home park off Applewhite Road.

Police said the man stole the woman’s car and ended up crashing it. They said he ran back into the mobile home park to hide from officers.

Officers eventually caught the man a couple of hours later.

No one was hurt during the incident.
