Man with ties to West SA wanted on charge he hurt young girl

Juan Jesus Rodriguez, 42, faces charge of injury to child by intent

SAN ANTONIO – The U.S. Marshals Service is taking its hunt for a wanted man public, hoping to find the fugitive facing a charge he hurt a young girl.

Juan Jesus Rodriguez, 42, has been wanted since he was indicted in August 2017 for injury to a child by intent.

"The indictment alleged that Rodriguez physically assaulted a child causing bodily injury," said Deputy Chris Bozeman. "The victim was under the age of 14 years old."

Rodriguez is 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 280 pounds. He has brown eyes and a bald head. A photo of Rodriguez showed him with dark brown facial hair.

"His last known place of residence was on the West Side of San Antonio," Bozeman said.
