4 men steal ATM from far West Bexar County Walmart store

Suspects loaded machine into box truck, deputies say

SAN ANTONIO – Bexar County sheriff’s investigators are trying to track down four men who stole an automatic teller machine from a WalMart Neighborhood Market.

Deputies answered the call around 2 a.m. Wednesday and discovered that the thieves somehow had gotten into the business, located at FM 1560 and Shaenfield Road, through its front doors.

The men then loaded the money machine into a box truck and drove off.

When deputies arrived, they conducted a search of the area with help from the San Antonio Police Department’s helicopter.

However, they did not find the suspects or the stolen ATM right away.

Investigators will be looking at surveillance video from the store for clues.
