SAN ANTONIO – A man died Saturday night after he was shot in the abdomen during an argument at a home on the city's South Side.

Police were called to a home in the 300 block of Koehler Court just before 8 p.m. for a reported shooting in progress. When officers arrived at the home, they found a woman administering CPR to a 25-year-old man, police said.

According to a preliminary report, the man showed up at the duplex and caused a disturbance, which escalated into a fight. During the fight, a man who lives at the duplex shot the man in the abdomen with a rifle.

The gunshot victim was taken to the San Antonio Military Medical Center, where he later died. The victim has not yet been identified.
