SAN ANTONIO – Residents and staff at an East Side nursing home were evacuated when a fire broke out Thursday afternoon.
Fire officials said smoke was discovered in one of the wings of the building and spread to the attic.
Sky 12 video showed firefighters battling the blaze on the roof of the building in the 800 block of Rice Road.
No injuries were reported and at least 25 units responded to the scene around 5:15 p.m.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
