Victim in critical condition

SAN ANTONIO – A 20-year-old West Side man is in critical condition after being stabbed by his younger brother during an unprovoked attack, San Antonio police said.

Officers found both the victim and 17-year-old suspect at their family’s home in the 9200 block of Ingleton.

They said relatives told them the 20-year-old was in his bedroom playing video games around 1 a.m. Wednesday when his younger brother began stabbing him.

The victim suffered stab wounds to his head, neck, back and shoulders, police said.

He was rushed to a hospital.

Officers said some of his wounds were life-threatening.

The suspect also had to be treated for cuts he suffered to his hands during the attack.

However, police said he will face charges and go to jail later.
