SAN ANTONIO – A driver was killed after slamming into an electrical pole on the Southwest Side early Saturday morning, police said.
The medical examiner's office identified as 66-year-old David Flores.

The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. near Somerset and Palo Alto.
Police said the driver was speeding, lost control and missed a sharp curve.
Witnesses reported seeing the driver swerving before the crash.
