SAPD: Missing children found safe

Case still under investigation

SAN ANTONIO – Three children who were taken from a family member by their biological mother are back with their legal guardian, San Antonio police said Saturday night.

Earlier that day, police were looking for Amanda Olivarez, 37, and her three children — Boae Santos, 13, Noah Martinez, 7, and Nathan Martinez, 5.

The missing boys were safely returned to the police substation on the West Side, police said around 11 p.m.

An investigation into Olivarez's actions is underway and she could face an array of charges, police said. Police have not located her yet, but the investigation is ongoing.

Olivarez did not have rights to the children due to a Child Protective Services order.
