3 arrested after home invasion on San Antonio's West Side

SAN ANTONIO – Three people are facing felony charges after a violent home invasion on the city's West Side.

It happened Monday in the 100 block of Las Palmas Drive, near Cupples and Castroville roads.

Jim Cervantes, Joshua Estrada and Genevieve Gonzales are all charged with assault with a deadly weapon after they allegedly barged into the house.

Once the three were inside, police said the victims were held at gunpoint, thrown to the ground, punched and kicked.

One of the victims admitted he stole marijuana from one of the suspects and believes the attack was retaliation.
